Daily Duties at Panasonic:
Responsible for individual accounts receivable portfolio: Resolution of accounts receivable for improved cash flow results. Trained/assisted Credit Analysts and collaborated with internal partners to resolve complex accounts receivable issues and recommend solutions. Account reconciliation: Researched billing and payment discrepancies. Ensured client accounts were setup with the correct billing and payment terms; in addition to payments being received according to the terms of the contractual agreement. Created standardized and Ad Hoc reporting for analysis of client data. Processed check request for cash overpayments, claim reversals and credits. Collaborated with cross functional teams to resolve under/overpayment issues. Assisted in major department projects for quality/process improvement initiatives. Managed a staff of Senior Accountants and Entry Level Accountants while leading a successful accounting department. Guided and supervised completion of Flash, monthly closing, Y/E closing and special projects.
