Daily Duties at Drs Technologies Inc:
Direct the execution of contract requirements, including cost and schedules to meet performance goals. Lead integrated product team (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, Contract and Configuration Data Management) to manage project scope, deadlines and inspires teamwork. Act as point of contact for internal and external customers regarding existing contracts and proposal activities, coordinating with other teams as needed. • Manage program budgets of $350K-$17M and project budgets of $100K-$600K. • Define program scope and plan through delivery. • Implement plans and schedules to execute contracts and subcontracts, allocating and controlling budgets for labor, material, travel, and purchased services; providing monthly senior management reports and presentations. • Identify and mitigate risk throughout program life cycle • Develop and implement correction action strategies as deviations in program occur. • Negotiate contracts and subcontracts ensuring adherence to government regulatory guidance and company’s values. • Perform variance analyses of schedule and cost for senior management. • Manage inventory and internal R&D projects. • Oversee up six concurrent programs or projects during a performance period. • Coordinate with business development to prospect and pitch new projects as team member or program leader, including the preparation and documentation of proposals. • Pitch competitive new business proposals worth $2M to $40M with sole source projects worth $1M-$5M.
