Daily Duties at Arizona Superior Court, Mohave County Courts:

Managed 3 reports--2 Mediator/Counselors and 1 office assistant; oversaw the budgeting, strategic planning, training program, high conflict parent coordination/counseling; facilitations and built relations with the Judges, local attorneys and social service agencies. Actively mediated high conflict cases, providing coaching and writing reports giving recommendations to the Family Law Judges; mediated 120 cases while there. Taught conflict resolution and parenting skills for parents; gave training seminars on conflict resolution to Court staff, including judges. Facilitated child dependency and severance cases, both public and private. Hired, trained, developed and gave performance evaluations to all staff; stayed current on all EEOC and HR laws and the Court's evaluation processes; Attended Manager's meetings with all court department heads, Judges and the Court Administrator. This position was eliminated due to continuing recessionary budget cuts at the County that were not foreseen at the time of hire.
