Daily Duties at St Jude Medical:

IT Support for 4 US sites and 3 international sites, 5000+ users, 600+ servers. Most recent responsibilities included the overall management and strategic direction of the Global Service Desk Support for both internal and external customers as well as vendor management of multiple IT service providers used by the division. Previous responsibilities included directing and management of several Infrastructure teams that included Desktop Support, Database, Storage, Server and Network Operations. Overall duties included staff management and development, project management, standards creation and implementation, software support, disaster recovery/business continuity, vendor management, customer service, change management, compliance and cost control. Managed an operational budget of $3-20M and projects from $5-10M.
