Daily Duties at Health Net Health Plan Of Oregon:
•Managing, coordinating and submitting 6-8 RFPs weekly for awards to increase revenue and membership. Work with Product Development and Underwriting team to produce a wining Proposal. •Extensively collaborate with all business units to compile information to complete Proposals. •Created various reports to communicate Proposal status. Example, Proposals received, submitted and awarded. •Presented success stories and challenges to Executives at the Quarterly Sales meetings. •Executing yearly health care benefits renewal projects to obtain approval from Oregon Insurance Division. For Example, Medicare Plan, Small Group Health Benefit, Portability Plan and Individual Health Benefit. •Project managing health plan renewal projects with large project team members. For example, Compliance, Customer Service, Product Development, Sales Management, Claims and Underwriting. •Conduct project progress presentations to the Executive team and staff members. •Communicate project progress through weekly and monthly meetings. Collaborate with team members to fix issues. •Navigating various internet based customer e-commerce websites, customer portals and e-applications. •Leading the deployment of web-based sales system projects using project management methodologies, involving detailed cross-functional collaboration. (subject matter experts, benefit managers, IT staff and management). •Collaborating and supporting the design of sales business rules to improve sales account management. •Develop various training materials to train sales account managers on new/updated system implementation. •Developed and introduced work flow charts, systematic processes, procedures to accomplish Sales department objectives. Responsible for updating continuous changes and training through team collaboration. •Resolved sales team learning challenges through individual trainings and case scenarios by compiling FAQs.
