Worked directly with all species of animals in newly opened state-of-the-art lab animal facility. * Performed blood collection and antibody. Necropsy The Laboratory Animal Services Attendant performs tasks that indirectly impact the health and well-being of laboratory animals; cleaning, processing, and sterilizing rodent microisolator cages; works as a team with other staff to process up to 1500-2000 microisolator cages per day; operate mechanized cage washing equipment to sanitize and sterilize microisolator caging; perform and maintain recordkeeping such as equipment inventory tracking and sanitization logs; performed a full range of activities that involve direct animal contact, animal husbandry duties and sanitization duties as needed.
