Daily Duties at Florida Power Corporation:
Managed operations personnel in the Trouble and Dispatch Department, including 13 troublemen in 2 operations centers, 5 distribution dispatchers, 2 operations engineers, 2 construction schedulers and a clerk position. Accountable for ensuring the optimal operation of department functions, including outage response, system operation, system maintenance, storm planning, and liaison to the call center. Position entailed supervising craft and technical personnel that were bargaining unit employees (union workers). • During night-time hours, responsibilities included serving as the only Manager on duty.
