Daily Duties at Progress Energy:
Accountable for providing high level power quality assistance to top tier customers, such as Publix, Sea World, Pepsi Bottling Company, Northrop Grumman, UCF, and Quaker Oats. Position entailed reviewing and resolving issues involving utility distribution system interaction, customer equipment mis-operation and sensitivity issues. • Collaborated with the customer and utility personnel to develop comprehensive approaches to solving complex problems. • Advised customers on proper equipment protection and utility system interaction mitigation techniques • Experienced in the use and installation of power quality diagnostic, energy usage, and revenue metering equipment • Performed technical seminars for customers on topics such as surge suppression, grounding, and utility rates
