Maximized operational performance for a molding operation and led all engineering activities for 4 Kongsberg plants in Matamoros; included responsibility for the introduction, implementation, and improvement of new products, components, and processes within a financially focused environment. - Executed numerous product line transfers from the United States to Mexico; traveled frequently to China for supplier/product development, and to sister plants in Hungary for systems implementation. - Built and developed high-performance production and engineering teams, and a self-sufficient engineering department; transferred all engineering activities for manufacturing prototypes from the United States to Mexico. - Prepared annual engineering and new product introduction (NPI) budgets including capital investments; oversaw capital approval and submission processes to corporate for new product development and launches. - Collaborated with team members on prioritizing and defining plans for human resources, quality, engineering, new product launches, capital investments, and training. - Worked extensively on Kanban implementation and ABC analysis for all 4 plants.  Provided a clear daily roadmap for production, engineering, and quality teams by facilitating daily meetings to establish priorities.  Held responsibility for production maintenance and facility management for all 4 plants.  Mentored production and engineering supervisors using a comprehensive knowledge of all products and processes; led by example.
