Daily Duties at Credit Suisse:

-Provide impacting batch incident management & batch night cycle management reporting. -Batch quality assurance for alert reduction and repetitive job failure resolution. -Escalate MVS(NTPA)and AS400 (OBS and GMI) batch jobs. -Execute Batch Break Glass requests per approved RFC(i.e. hold jobs, modify QR's or submission time, rerun successfully completed jobs, etc.) -Heavy use of Control-M 7.0 to monitor, modify and analyze daily batch runs consisting of 100,000 + jobs. -Analysis of batch critical paths leading up to dashboard DDA's for optimization and increased rate of success. -Provide daily GMI stream processing consisting of seven market mains. -AS400 operations including IPL'S, file restores, break glass ids and Robot console monitoring. -Maintain and test batch audit controls(Internal, SOX, Fed, and White paper etc.) -Impacting Batch Incident Management. -Mainframe JCL/PROC library maintenance, GDG creation, execution of emergency DB2 SPUFIs and emergency Batch/Online releases and file restores. -Acted as an escalation/communication point between Application developers and Business units escalating outages as needed. -Produced deadline reports for Senior management. -Provided training for contracted consultants. -Maintained procedural Run-book insuring smooth operational workflow during critical business events. -Controlled and monitored scheduled and modified batch job streams and failed jobs with use of PERL Script or GUI interface Enterprise Manager tools(Control-M\Autosys\Net-IQ)for all batch jobs, system processes, communication links running on Mainframe(OS/ZS, AS/400, MVS) to UNIX Linux and Windows server platforms. - )
