A not-for-profit county-owned critical access hospital. Director of Human Resources and Ancillary Services, Senior Leadership Team Executed the delivery of all human resources activities of a county-owned hospital. Created departmental budget. Ensured compliance with all regulatory processes. Counseled CEO and Board of Directors on potential litigation and employee labor issues. Investigated and resolved internal employment complaints pertaining discrimination and harassment. Developed mandatory arbitration policies and procedures to protect against future litigation, resulting in decreased amount of EEOC claims. Represented hospital in EEOC mandated dispute resolutions. Cultivated and fostered relationships with benefits providers. Authored training and on-boarding materials. Reduced cost-per-hire and retraining costs through active management of talent acquisition and retention initiatives. Performed competitive analysis and reviewed data to create attractive compensation and benefits programs. Liaised with legal counsel. Managed ancillary support services; housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, medical records, public relations, education, advertising, employee health and occupational health. Managed the corporate risk management program. Created metrics to monitor project performance.
