Daily Duties at Mountain High Ski Resort:
My team treats 2,000 plus injuries including guest concerns, per season. As the Director, I train my team on continuing education, enhancement of medical and ski patrolling skills as well as providing a safe environment for the general public. I maintain the schedules for my team, including certifications and training for all the new candidates. In 2005 I earned a Senior Patroller Certification. Only 25% of ski patrollers earn this certification. It includes knowledge in Risk Management, Public Relations, Hill Safety, Skiing with Toboggans and Medical skills.
