Daily Duties at Heritage Foods:
Performed pre trip inspections of my vehicle according to the DOT regulations. Attached tractor to trailer and checked daily routes. Performed safety checks on my vehicle to ensure that the mechanical, safety and emergency equipment was in good working order. Reviewed Bill of Lading, inspected and secured load for transportation to each customer. Unloaded product by electric pallet jack or fork lift. Performed post trip duties including unloading and returning all paperwork. Performed a safety check on the vehicle to insure the mechanical safety was in good working order. Re-fueled daily in preparation for the next day.
