Daily Duties at Maricopa Community Colleges:

Hired at Mesa Community College as full-time residential faculty to teach Composition and build and manage the ESL program at MCC's new Red Mountain campus to meet and ensure accreditation from North Central Association/Higher Learning Commission. Prepared and delivered effective and cogent content based lectures and presentations to adult students. Developed curriculum and content for in-class and web-based training. Utilized LMS: Blackboard, WebCT, Web Conferencing tools. Experienced in designing learning modules, incorporating instructional design techniques based on ADDIE. Focused on Aristotelian Rhetoric to instill understanding of audience and persuasive writing and speaking. Created learning resources including: PowerPoint presentations, activities, evaluations, assessments and course guides. Taught 5-6 courses per semester with 30+ students per class.
