Conducted regional land acquisitions in the Pacific Northwest market including the sourcing of deals, negotiations, purchase agreements, due diligence, financial feasibility analysis, conceptual planning,preliminary entitlements,and closing. Established a regional and national network of industry contacts including banks, brokers, title companies and investors with large portfolios of distressed assets and REO property. Completed regional residential market analysis and strategy including market positioning in Seattle, WA and Portland, Or. Provided leadership for the formation and oversight of the Newland Green Team for sustainable building design innovation and construction practice. Provided assistance to the Regional President, National Executive Vice President for acquisitions and capital markets, Chairman and equity investors in the completion of due diligence for acquisitions and investments in Southern California, San Francisco Bay Area, Portland and Seattle.
