Daily Duties at Waterview Nursing Care Center:

The Inservice Educator kept the staff up to date. All staff members were required to have a set of Mandatory Inservice education topics covered each year. These ranged from Fire & Safety, OSHA updates, REsidents Rights, Workplace Violence, Proper Body Mechanics, Staff Comradery events, to name a few. New employees were guided through an orientation program of two days under the Inservice Educator before proceeding to their specific Unit for individualized training. Morale building was a strong arm of this position- as employee longevity was beneficial to the success of the Facility. These Education sessions we provided on all three shifts and monthly events were always on the calender.
