Daily Duties at Enzyme Systems Products:
• Produce fluorescently labeled peptide substrates & inhibitors for studying proteases in biology and disease for academic and industry researchers. • Develop assays and utilized antibodies to detect proteases for diagnosis of diseases such as human cancer and periodontitis. • Design novel chemical compounds for selective detection of cysteine proteases and beta-lactamases for research & clinical assays. • Contribute in many aspects of running a small life science company including research and product support to researchers.
