Daily Duties at De Beaubien, Knight, Simmons, Mantzaris & Neal, Llp:
Execute the delivery of all human resources activities for multi-site law firm. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory processes. Execute EEO-1, OSHA Logs and Form 5500 related reporting’s. Simplify and consolidate corporate HR processes through the creation of forms and checklists. Plan and execute strategic Human Resources strategies. Administer unemployment claims and act as employer representative in SUI hearings. Orchestrate the resolution of staff complaints through open-door policy. Conduct on-site annual Sexual/Other UnlawfulHarassment trainings and act as employer representative for internal investigations. Create safety materials and training, including ergonomics. Author Emergency Management Plans. Partner with General Lines insurance agents to ensure accurate and competitive benefit coverage to reduce risk exposure. Author Employee Reference Guide, training and on-boarding materials. Recruit, hire, train and motivate staff. Reduce cost-per-hire and retraining costs through active management of talent acquisition and retention initiatives. Develop compelling job descriptions. Manage day to day performance of employees and develop action plans through corporate progressive discipline policy and continuous coaching and mentoring. Orchestrate ongoing regional management training re: new processes/programs. Create metrics to monitor project performance through semiannual performance and merit reviews. Cultivate relationships with insurance carriers to reduce annual increases while maintaining attractive benefit options. Perform competitive analysis to create attractive compensation and benefits programs by use of benchmarking and employee input. Facilitate annual open enrollment process from employee communications, carrier negotiations, and educational meetings to the completion of customized enrollment forms. Liaise with legal counsel and other pertinent internal client groups. Conduct corporate meetings to aid in timely completion of established goals. Research, procure and administer HRIS. Execute vendor negotiations.
