Daily Duties at Saxon, A Morgan Stanley Company:

Provide expertise in the areas of mortgage sub-servicing, Fiserv and LPS Systems technology, contract negotiations, and project management for Saxon as a servicing company and a sub-servicing company. Major Contributions: • Managed projects in Credit Portfolio Risk, Business and Technology. • Managed and consulted with internal subject matter experts inside the company to develop objectives and project plans to meet the needs of the stakeholders. • Participated in strategic planning, determining issues, and assessing future needs to identify projects that achieve business goals and objectives and/or improve or streamline functions. • Managed multiple projects and assisted with providing solutions to complex business problems, processes and policy issues, framing up the projects, and driving them through execution to completion. • Worked cross-functionally with partners from business, operations, credit, IT, Finance and Corporate as well as vertically with members of senior management. • Lead project efforts to define, analyze and implement infrastructure and functional changes. • Managed daily activities related to project scope, budget and schedule to advance the work of one or more sub-projects. • Established schedules and priorities and facilitated decision-making on scope, budget and schedule revisions. • Created and maintained schedules in MS Project. • Collaborated with business stakeholders to identify and manage project risks. • Ensured appropriate level of communication across project teams and senior management. • Drove accountability for all deliverables and ensured critical issues were identified, tracked and resolved including issue reporting. • Managed daily/weekly project communication and status reporting. • Ensured business/operational deliverables were developed and tracked. • Adhered to corporate and business unit standards and procedures and obtained required approvals. • Orchestrated the build out of the Enterprise Systems group which served as the liaison between employees, technology, and vendors. Building this group included documenting policies and procedures, process flows, and a rollout plan for ROI. • • Improved issue tracking for Enterprise Systems with IT in order to provide detailed KPI’s and KRI’s to C-level management and the business. • Initiated documentation and project planning for Year End to provide a repeatable process. • Elected to the Fiserv Advisory Board and appointed as Chairman of the Default, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Collections, HAMP and REO Sub-Committees. • Saved Saxon $418,828 annually on a proactive loan purge, $400,000 in contract negotiations for implementation and professional services with LPS, and $187,500 on outsourcing which equated to over $1M in 2010. • Re-engineered the mail room operations through outsourcing which resulted in decreased litigation issues by roughly 30%, regulatory risk decreased by approximately 50%, and customer service issues were significantly reduced. I managed the project to completion within 90 days. • Served on the Operating Committee, Women's Leadership Committee, and Diversity Council which included speaking at LEAD Receptions. • Elected to the Fiserv Advisory Board in 2008 and maintained position through 2010 which included planning 8 labs and 1 panel session for their User Conference. The labs tripled participation from previous conferences. • Orchestrated the team for system streamlining of the HAMP program which was one of the most successful in the U.S. based on loan volume. • Successfully Completed the CIO Pathways Program in 2010.
