Daily Duties at Us Army:
Perform as the J-1 Forward Joint Manning Document Manager interfacing with U.S. Central Command and the Services to reflect total force accountability and providing the leadership with an accurate picture of manning staff levels within coordinate actions for Individual Augmentee/Unit positions within the United Security Forces-Iraq whose population is approximately 938 Service Members, Civilians, Contractors, and North Atlantic Treaty Organizational Forces. In working with this tool I manage non-sourced, duplicate, unit excess, assigned, detailed positions to include the tracking of arriving and re-deploying personnel. Manage joint manpower resources allocated for future missions in the building of the newly up-coming Operations Security Corporation-Iraq Forces that will remain in theater after troop draw down, expected population, 157. Up-date and manage the research of personnel that are being tracked on the Joint Manning document using the Electronic Joint Manpower and Personnel System for tracking Joint Staff Manpower Billets and Personnel files. This allows me to coordinate manpower changes and track personnel positions at the Joint Staff which works hand in hand with screening of the Joint Manning Document the is in place for United Security Forces-Iraq. Responsible for the tracking and provide visibility of location and duty status of deployed soldiers, daily using the Deployed Theater Accountability System. Coordinate and monitor the work of the Administrative Specialists for thirteen sections within the United Security Forces-Iraq. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity for mission success. Implement and identify training and development in the personnel arena for twenty-four Service Members and Civilians. Manage other supporting systems for work flow projects such as Enlisted Distribution and Assignment System for locating of soldiers on assignments; Electronic Military Personnel Office for production of Enlisted Military Reports and up-dating of Soldiers personnel records. Process and manage all re-deployment Joint and Service awards for Military personnel to include Department of Defense Civilians thru the electronic Award Management System. Organized and managed Bi-weekly Personnel meetings for the sections Administrative Specialists on up-dates of awards, personnel guidance on sister services concerning re-deployments and evaluations, the monitoring of newly assigned arrivals and departures to their sections, daily accountability and monitoring of the Service Members leave, Rest and Recuperation periods. Prepare weekly reports for arrivals and re-deploying service members for the Chief of Staff, Command Group. Monitor staff performance including performance reviews. Manage and responsible for the J-1 equipment hand receipt totaling a dollar value of 75,000.
