Daily Duties at Active Voice Corporation:
Managed all benefit plans and benefits strategy, as well as many areas of general HR management, for a global software company of 400+ employees. Managed all health plans, and the 401(k) and Employee Stock Purchase Plans. Responsible for brokering renewals, maintaining plan documents, managing open enrollments, filing Form 5500's, and all day-to-day operations and employee education. Managed annual audit of 401(k) plan, including non-discrimination testing. Also responsible for many HR management functions, including employee relations; all leaves of absence and returns-to-work; negotiated separations; exit interviews; managed the New Employee Orientation program; drove all immigration filings, including F1, H-1B, and TN visas, as well as permanent resident applications; defined diversity recruiting strategy and implemented advertising program; represented company at career fairs; maintained Affirmative Action Plan and EEO reporting; managed Safety Program and all OSHA reporting.
