Daily Duties at Time Warner Cable:
Managed 7 staff to perform capacity planning for voice equipment, trunks, and transport for Time Warner Cable’s Voice over IP (VoIP) network and interconnection to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Managed a team to develop and implement a transition plan for our group to support the capacity planning for TWC’s national IP backbone. Team responsibilities included producing subscriber, equipment, and circuit forecasts; traffic engineering for voice transport and trunk interconnection; submitting capacity moves, augments, and disconnects for national IP backbone and voice network; developing quarterly capacity plans and annual capital and expense budget plans for equipment and circuit capacity; managing monthly expense and capital budgets (over $31 million) and group performance metrics. To accomplish all tasks and deliverables required high interaction was required with cross functional teams, including regional data centers (RDC), division, and finance staff.
