Responsible for building a human resource department from scratch. In terms of recruiting, this was 3 supervisors, 8 leads, 8 support staff and 90 hourly employees. Provide policies, procedures and handbook to meet food industry standards. Create/customize documents necessary to include applications, job descriptions, compensation ranges, job postings, interview questionnaires for each posting, background check processes. Establish record keeping and reporting processes to meet all compliance regulations.
