Daily Duties at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center For Aged:

• Coordinated Out-patient Clinic for nine Geriatricians who provided various health services • Assisted elderly patients and their families in coordinating medical necessities • Created and organized a new filing system which increased efficiency in the way files were managed by physicians and staff to uphold top quality service in patient care • Contributed to the implementation of the Clinical Master/SMS clinical patient registration system • Coordinated vital physicians’ meetings, as well as, bi-weekly clinic meetings to assure efficiency and quality in the operations of the clinic and home care services • Interacted with affiliated housing sites pertaining to patient care • Managed off-hour on-call schedule of the physicians for the clinic • Oversaw the editing of dictated notes, retrieval of labs, x-rays, and other pertinent results for patients’ charts on a daily basis to be reviewed by the physicians • Oversaw inventory of clinical supplies • Oversaw the verification of patients’ insurance coverage • Updated and verified CPT and ICD 9 diagnostic codes for accurate billing
