Daily Duties at City Of Phoenix:

Headed the daily operation of the city’s audit team, supervising and coaching staff to achieve streamlined operations and service delivery excellence. Subject matter resource and public liaison on interpreting, administering, and enforcing tax and licensing laws and regulations. Spearheaded in-depth investigations into local and out-of-state business compliance with sales and use tax laws and regulations, leading the audit team through comprehensive analyses of corporate accounting records. Developed comprehensive reports outlining non-compliance issues and providing recommended actions for improvement. Served as the public representative of the Tax Collector at hearings and in response to internal and external inquiries.
