Daily Duties at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield:
Oversee delivery of sales support and provide consultative services such as development of client-specific care management strategies and benefit design structure. Supervise team of 7 Clinical Consultants and Clinical Analysts as well as management of operating budget of $550,000. Collaborate with Clinical Operating departments and Sales to support account goals, improve productivity, and identify opportunities for growth. Team utilizes data from multiple business units to develop a 3- to 5-year account specific clinical strategy plan. Analyze information provided by Analytical Services for utilization patterns and identify risks and cost drivers affecting employee accounts to develop the final deliverable for the presenter to the group. Provide clinical expertise to the Product and Marketing Departments to help develop products with a strong clinical foundation.
