•Facilitated a safe environment for developmentally disabled individuals while ensuring all Comar Regulations were met •Coordinated the staffing and all duties that were performed in residential housing •Supervised staff and provided in-service classes so that the staff were properly equipped with skills and knowledge to efficiently serve clients •Coordinated activities such as day trips, vacations, and outings so that the clients were able to interact with the community •Assisted clients with gaining employment from equal opportunity employers •Facilitated clients with mainstreaming programs •Worked under close supervision of Doctors and Nurses •Implemented health and safety policy and procedures •Participated in indivivual planning meetings to establish activities and goals for clients that were productive and measuable •Submitted valuable information to help the team decide which goals were in the best interest of the client •Maintained a respectable effective business relationship between Doctors, Social Workers, Case Managers, and Service Coordinators to ensure the proper and safe welfare of clients •Helped to record, maintain, and establish an accurate record keeping system to ensure clients goals were being met •Effectively managed budget to ensure clients goals were succesful and needs met
