Reporting to E/M president, and to Great Lakes VP Development. Under corporate Great Lakes Chemical agreement with General Motors, assigned to evaluate market and pitfalls of development of fluorocarbon complex coating to replace nickle/cadmium, chromium, and zinc as protective lubricity coating on most automotve fasteners for GM--response to proposed EPA restrictions on heavy metal water pollution.
