Daily Duties at Daimler Chrysler Corp.:

•Provided day-to-day supervision for all maintenance activities throughout the 580,000 square foot facility, for a 24-hours a day, 7-days a week production operation. •Personally supervised, planned and scheduled the upkeep of 29 Van Dorn and Cincinnati Milacron plastic injection mold machines, mold repair facilities, 26 assembly lines and all support equipment. •Effectively led and motivated 3 shifts of various skilled tradesmen in a diverse workforce consisting of 37 journeymen on 1st, 15 on 2nd, and 20 on 3rd shifts in all aspects of plant maintenance. •Facilitated implementation of the shift's Planned Maintenance System (PMS) in the company's Total Maintenance System (TMS), ensuring 100% compliance with all safety and QS9000 requirements. •Unique ability to interface with all levels of management in evaluating, modifying, and redesigning manufacturing processes, standardization efforts, and lean manufacturing concepts to achieve the company's strategic as well as local goals of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQDCM).
