Daily Duties at Donaldson Company Inc.:

•Provided day-to-day management activities for a 150,000 square foot exhaust systems plant, specializing in over-the-road and off-highway diesel engines in a safe, reliable and efficient manner. •Facilitated the startup of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) into the company's Planned Maintenance Program. •Initiated the startup of a maintenance and tool room supply crib. Directed the standardization of repair, replacement and consumable parts to reduce operating costs, decrease inventory, allow additional room for critical spares while having the correct replacement parts ready and on-hand. •Directly managed the assignment and direction of all outside contract labor, as well as extensive contact with over 200 contractors and vendors, ordering equipment, parts and service. •Using prior experiences, extensive education, specific training and good engineering practices, personally lead the coordination of all Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Crib Attendants, and Interns for a 3 shift/day, 6 day/week operation in downtime reduction and continuous improvement plans in order to improve productivity, efficiency, equipment reliability and uptime, thus decreasing equipment costs and downtime.
