Daily Duties at Dmax Ltd.:

•Provided day-to-day direction of all maintenance activities for a 3 shift/day, 7 day/week operation for a world class diesel engine production and assembly plant. •Utilizing a vast understanding of human behavior, labor relations' practices, and team building competencies, coordinated management, union and labor in getting the job done right the first time. •Developed and implemented a skilled trades rotation and training program to cross-train every technician in all aspects of both production and assembly areas. •Facilitated plant wide training on Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS), Team Concepts and 5S (Sweep, Sort, Straighten, Standardize, Sustain) as well as continual improvement "Kaizen" processes. •Instrumental in implementing the joint management and union Capacity Assurance Coordinator (CAC) positions to increase uptime, decrease reactive work, and better prepare for predictive maintenance.
