Managed the Solution Design function for the North American division of a large, multi-national IT outsourcing organization. Supervised 21 Senior Solution Architects across all lines of business including Distributed Computing, Network, Data Center, Service Desk, Managed Voice, Hardware Maintenance, and Human Resources in support of a $650M business. Accountable for coordination between the Solution Design function and Sales, R&D, Service-line Management, Global Solution Design Authority, and Marketing to ensure offered solutions are innovative, compelling and drive revenue and profitable growth. Accomplishments include: • Supported over 300 individual opportunities in 2006 resulting in over $350M new bookings. • Provided solution design leadership for the Global Siemens AG IT consolidation • Successfully designed and implemented the re-engineering of the Solution Design and Transition Services organization resulting in streamlined operations and $2M in cost savings. • Implemented the Solution Design review process resulting in more competitive and elegant customer solutions
