Embraced challenge to grow enrobed chocolates category and spearhead product penetration in dominant molded chocolates category. Formulated and implemented marketing/advertising strategies and programs. Developed, packaged, and branded new products. Conducted brand/category analysis and market/consumer research. Managed annual budget and P&L. - Launched new product to reach 90% of flagship brand’s sales within just four months on market by developing new product, packaging, merchandising materials, nationwide sampling, and TV ad campaign, as well as ensuring sufficient stock levels during launch. - Grew market share of product portfolio from 60% to 85% by developing and deploying mega branding program to revitalize and effectively differentiate portfolio’s five different brands. Program included trade merchandising, packaging, and TV/radio ad campaign that won Third Place in 1999 National Ad Congress. - Obtained corporate approval for three new product launches and US$5.7M manufacturing equipment purchase by conducting marketing, technical, and financial feasibility study for new product category penetration. - Secured product placement in key supermarkets by developing and introducing three-bar consumer pack in theft-prone pouch easily displayed in self-service outlets and supermarkets.
