Daily Duties at Abbott Nutrition :
Directed business development for pediatric milk brands, GainPlus and PediaSure, as well as OTC brands, Cecon Vitamin C and Selsun Blue. Developed, packaged, and branded new product formulations. Performed brand, category, market, and consumer research and analysis. Formulated and introduced marketing, advertising, and ethical strategies and programs. Managed annual budget and P&L. - Positioned Cecon Vitamin C product as strong contender for company’s International Marketing Excellence Award by implementing creative media placements and sales incentive program that drove 60% increase in sales. - Met year one sales forecast in first six months of launch by developing and launching GainPlus milk product with compelling brand strategy, informative packaging, major TV and print campaign, consumer sampling, ethical campaign, physician giveaways, and launch event targeting pediatricians. - Created new business opportunity by developing revitalization program for Selsun Blue that divided brand into two product categories, medicated/therapeutic and cosmetic anti-dandruff product lines.
