Daily Duties at Mag Training And Consulting:

I am currently self-employed as a Consultant, Technical Writer and Trainer under the name, MAG Training and Consulting (see web site at www.magtraining.com). I provide these services for area banks and other financial institutions, construction lenders, mortgage companies and their management teams. On average, the companies consulted experienced a 35% average increase in monthly closed production. My services include: • Creation of new mortgage process flow charts for optimal production capacity, • Creation of departmental policies and employee policy and procedures manuals, • Creation of new management reports (to monitor and control pipelines, rate lock- in and expiration dates) resulting in an average increase of. 75 basis points per loan. • Loan Officer training on pre-qualification, loan application and compliance disclosures, resulting in a decrease in pipeline dead files by 45%. • Loan Processor best practices training, resulting in a decrease in processing turnaround time from an average of 60 to 20 days (from application to closing). • Training programs (for Loan Officers, Processors and Underwriters) on Conventional, FHA 203(b), FHA 203(k) and Guaranteed Rural Housing programs. • Monthly or quarterly Quality Control audits and management reports, with recommendations for improvement and outlining areas of risk.

What they like about Mag Training And Consulting:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
