Daily Duties at Chartis:
Experience in verifying coverage, taking statements, interpreting medical reports and medical treatment, calculating loss time benefits, setting reserves to accurately reflect exposure of file, and paying medical bills and loss wages. Negotiating settlements with attorneys and injured employees, and investigating fraudulent claims. Work with employers to pursue an early return to work for injured employees in a safe work environment. Requires excellent customer service and communication skills with the employee and the employer, the ability to analyze and multitask, calculate benefits, and attention to detail.
