Daily Duties at 1800 Flowers.Com, Inc. :
HR Business Partner co-led 550 FTE service center; oversaw and managed all aspects of service center objectives and goals. Managed 11-subordinates, payroll, as well as provided guidance and direction to service center managers and associates. Contributed to the development and implementation of programs and strategies to maximize human capital and drive performance goals. - Successfully brought office into compliance by restructuring HR department, aligned HR objectives to meet business goals, trained and developed 11-inexperienced HR support staff, and implemented policies and service standards. - Successfully coached and developed 17-inexperienced first line virtual and site managers. Leadership performance improved in employee satisfaction survey scores by 48% overall. - Developed and implemented change-management initiative introducing leadership development programs in conjunction with "performance driven culture" and new coaching model resulting in improved systems in employee relations, and retention. As a result achieved a 19.63% attrition turnover reduction in the first year and 32% attrition reduction over a 2-year period for a company with a high turnover rate. - Innovated strategic recruiting plans and successfully executed high volume recruiting initiatives. Successfully met seasonal worker recruiting goals of 250-550 each holiday season, (3 times a year), in a tight market, (population 35,582) by providing high performing new hires. - Played a pivotal role in the planning, development, and implementation of the virtual "work from home" program. Successfully drove the recruitment process hiring 504 seasonal home agents in addition to 550 seasonal on-site agents. Additionally, devised a virtual leadership development program.
