Daily Duties at Dt Industries Inc.:

Responsible for the assembly/design of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems on automated/manual production lines. This process included start up of the project, installation in the field to final customer acceptance. Re-organized the current sub-assembly build processes within the electrical and engineering departments. This included using standard build practices that would fit the customer and vendors quality assurance programs. End results were faster turn around on customer orders and an average saving of 15% of the total sub-assembly budgets. Team member involved with developing and implementing a customer advocate program. This concept involved working one on one with customers to streamline processes of assembly lines from original designs, reduce costs and increase customer productivity. These techniques resulted in multiple orders totaling over 4.5 million dollars within 24 months. Daily tasks of estimating project performance and maintaining project schedules. This resulted in on-time deliveries and preventing project budget overruns. Assisted controls engineering department with hardware concepts consisting of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This included attending customer design reviews and laying out ergonomics of automated/manual assembly machinery. Review engineering drawings and designs to assure high quality products while maintaining customer specifications and expectations. This task required project log book sign off approvals to eliminate costly rework. Responsible for the training and development of new employees in the manufacturing environment. These steps resulted in improved project flow, shorter lead times and a more competent work force. Member of the ISO9001 internal audit team. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Tools, AutoCAD 2004, and other various office tools.
