Daily Duties at Qimonda/Infineon Technologies:
• Responsible for the leadership development, executive talent and professional career planning for North America. • Led the Learning & Development and training staff to support organizational goals of succession planning and high-potential development planning. • Create and support global initiatives in the employee life-cycle path and represent the NA region towards new development initiatives. • Educate and partner with Executive Leadership Team on Talent & Performance assessments of senior technical experts, senior management and successors. Provide coaching on talent-tree identification and create development plans according to specific technical or functional fields. • Responsible for Sales & Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing learning and development curriculum. • Member of the Global Learning & Development Team; creating global processes and programs to support one unified and consistent approach to talent management. • NA Manager for performance management, Technical Ladder, Educational Assistance, New Employee Orientation, HRIS systems including 20+ databases and automated systems supporting the OD and Training department. Staff HR Business Partner/OD Manager • Dedicated Strategic Business Partner to the Automotive, Industrial & Multi-Market Business Division, the North America IT organization, and Corporate Logic Design Center. Supporting an employee base of marketing & sales professionals, Field and Application Engineers, Software & Systems Engineers and Customer Logistics Management. • Business Partner and Consultant to the organization Vice-Presidents regarding NA organizational development and structure in alignment with world-wide strategies, strategic staffing, OD and change management. • Prepared and participated in High-Potential employee Talent Review and performance discussion round tables in NA and Germany for world-wide performance management discussions. Created career development plans, trained and coached management regarding performance management, salary planning, improvement plans, and corrective action. • Partnered closely with my HR Director counter-parts in Munich, Germany to align regional and global business objectives; member of several global teams across Europe and Asia.. • Managed the variable pay, global technical ladder program, and salary budget process in NA and represent the region in Munich for global review. • Established and maintain strong relationships with Germany headquarters office and direct liaison with World-Wide Senior HR Directors in Munich while maintaining alignment with other Business Divisions in North America. • Sandston, Virginia: Dedicated Senior HR Business Partner to the Organization Units and oversee & train HRBP’s totaling HR support of approx. 1300 employees comprised of Executive & Site management, R & D, Equipment and Process Engineers, Technicians and direct labor. Partnered with Executive Directors and Management Team regarding employee relations matters, expansion staffing, and employee development. • Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies/procedures to minimize legal risk/exposure; when necessary, manage and defend all EEOC and legal challenges successfully. • Responsible for managing and initiating compensation plans/budget planning for client groups. Part of the national and global management team for developing performance mgmt. systems, processes, and organizational roll-out to Exec. Staff and locations. • Strong expertise on employee relations, alignment of HR operations to facility and company goals, due diligence/liability risk management, coaching and counseling of management on HR areas.
