Daily Duties at Weyerhaeuser Charlotte:

Managed the Quality Systems, the Document System, and Manager of the Mid Atlantic Zone Web Site. Successfully supervised Quality Laboratory. Made quality calls and visited major customers to educate them on production issues and troubleshooting production issues. Developed training program for all departments, including an Access Data base for record keeping. Conducted weekly Audit of the Production area, Quality Audits, Customer Audits and Company yearly Audit. Participated in hiring of new employees and coordinated training module (production floor). Developed Shared Point homepage (SOP) and managed entire program for the plant and conducted Microsoft Live Meeting Manager conference on monthly basis. Led cross functional teams in corrective and preventative actions. Also waste controls.  Manager: Customer Complaint system (Quavar), Reduced the average days to close from 50 to 23.3 days.  Nominated for the Weyerhaeuser President Award for Quality, and for Skew Team.  Successfully developed a plant wide training program and an Access data based to track all training.  Worked with Sales Reps on related issues and conducted various training programs.  Served on Member of Management team responsible for strategic direction of facility.  Lead Auditor, certified by QMI. Lead Auditor for the Mid Atlantic Zone.  Developed and documented Quality Management System Manual.  Developed and implemented Process Capability Studies and statistical methodologies.  Completed Green Belt training and conducted several projects with over $55,000 with in the 6 months.  PTI Graduate (Packaging Technical Institute) (Production Manager Training) 2 Year Course Zone Quality Manager - Charlotte, NC, Newton, NC, Lumberton, NC and Lynchburg, VA Managed the Quality System for all locations and ensure the smooth procedure working with their managers. Set up web system and DMS system for ISO and SOP documents and document control for the Zone. Worked with Newton to set up documents and corrugator system; Conducted training on COC and Corrugator and finishing conformance testing training; Helped with the Quavar system and procedures for customer service. Visited customer for all of the plants.  Served as the Baxter representative. Conducted WQP (Quality) audit in all 4 plants.
