Daily Duties at Clothestime:
Full responsibility for 274 retail stores, $152 million annual sales volume, 1700 associates Full P&L responsibility. . Oversaw major marketing, financial, operational, merchandise and real estate decisions, member of Executive Committee. Created and implemented programs for development of field personnel: district manager in training program, visual presentation manual, training store manager program, district manager training program. Developed programs to enhance the operations of store units: interviewing and recruiting store manager program, opportunity store program, task elimination program and shopping report program. Recruited, hired, and developed staff consisting of 27 district managers and 4 regional managers. Developed customer service formal philosophy for the stores Wrote and implemented company policy and procedures. Established a wage/salary program to insure proper payroll control and costs.
