Daily Duties at Orco Construction Supply:
Primarily responsible for training, growth and development of replenishment associates and purchasing programs, including allocation and replenishment of product to branches. •Provided strategic/analytical information to Category Managers and Branch Management to maximize merchandise and financial objectives. •Hired, trained, lead, and developed replenishment staff of 12 on company policies and procedures. •Tested, developed and executed the training and implementation of new ERP software. •Developed and implemented department metrics, policies and processes. •Monitored employee performance and performed annual reviews. •Assigned Replenishment Associates schedules and timekeeping. •Achieved marked improvement in department productivity . •Improved service levels by up to 30% with use of metrics. •Increased team moral by use of fun team building exercises. •Reduced absenteeism by providing a positive work place environment. •Successfully built a team of professional purchasing associates.
