Daily Duties at Dmax Ltd:
Responsible for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery in Quality Control, Assurance and CARE. Reported and completed 5Y analysis regarding all safety issues within quality encouraging a proactive approach using TPM policy and procedure reducing employee incident rates and first aid visits. Performed line side investigation of quality part, process and equipment issues initiating containment of all non conformance part issues line side, picking locations, and incoming shipment of parts from vendor. Reported out daily First Time Quality percentages regarding Hot Test and CARE. Informed in house machine floor of all nonconformance issues found through patrol inspection and or daily, weekly and monthly checks according to engineering process sheet frequency of checks. Used Hot Test stands to gage quality of each engine using and monitoring a 14 step 6min cycle time engine hot run for OK or NG condition. Initiated sorting for non conformance part issues using boundary samples determining OK or NG condition. Performed 50hr engine run tests using Audit test booths for analyzing al part wear and failure. Evaluated all engine part issues informing quality, assembly and all suppliers of failure found. Tracked individual team cost per budget reducing cost using 5’s and Kiazen principles. Initiated and monitored all scrap tables using proper rework methods for damaged parts reducing scrap rate by parts returned to assembly. Reviewed daily, weekly and monthly targets to support assembly operations achieving customer demand. Reviewed updated blueprint and process sheets corresponding correct program change to Ziess CMM , roundcom, surfcom and Vickers Hardness checking machines. Updated all changes to check sheets per QS 9000 and ISO 14001 guidelines. Responsible for tracking, recording and initiating disciplinary measures within company policy. Tracked, monitored, and completed evaluations for Team Leaders with recommendations of improvements and acknowledgements of team member’s achievements. Reviewed team member performance per skill chart for each team monitoring progression of training daily, weekly and monthly. Arranged proper training due to specific change in model year, updates to supplier parts and all engineering change request (ECR) affecting the assembly process.
