Daily Duties at Cytyc Hologic:

• Supply chain team member instrumental in facilitating the transition of Mountain View, CA manufacturing processes, organizational tasks, and related documentation from West Coast facility to Hologic’s Marlboro operation. Managed freight, logistics, and MRP related functions on all medical devices and components from pre-sterilization stage to finished goods. • Monitored the Costa Rica manufacturing production schedule for Novasure© and MammoSite© product lines to meet Hologic’s Surgical Division ($125M annual) sales forecast. Primary point of contact between Costa Rica manufacturing, sterilization facilities, freight carriers, Quality and Hologic’s Distribution Center in Methuen, Massachusetts. • Analyzed raw material, components, WIP and Finished Goods to achieve safety stock inventory levels to meet sales forecast: made recommendations to purchasing and production team based on final analysis. Participated in reviews and preparation of bills of materials and routings in MFG PRO (MRP). Knowledgeable in FDA, cGMP, ISO, SHE, SOX policies and regulations. • Interfaced daily with Quality, Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to identify, prioritize, and resolve work-in-process constraints impacting production schedule and customer delivery. Published daily QA priority dispatch list to meet sub-assembly, production, and safety stock requirements. • Maintained Hologic’s weekly Surgical Production Report and chaired the weekly Surgical Production conference call between Costa Rica and U. S. operations. Integral in helping to achieve >98% customer delivery, <2% backorders, and maintaining weeks on hand inventory on diverse portfolio of women’s healthcare products. • Scheduled and released discrete work orders in support of forecast and production plan for domestic products including NS 2000© and MCED II©. Managed inventory aging report on Surgical Division WIP, FG, and raw materials in Marlboro plant; reduced aged inventory from >180 days average to <10 days within six months; responsible for resolving any rejected/non-conforming material via Material Disposition Process.
