Worked in small group whose charter was to produce and support in-house software tools that would be used in the ASIC design process. • Planned EDA tool project to automate JTAG and scan insertion into the ASIC design process. • Ran simulation models and researched test methodologies for BIST. • Performed design synthesis verification for new BIST models. • Extensive work with C code writing and debug. • Handled portability issues between the unix and VMS operating systems. • Aided in database design for a tool that performed automatic test vector translation across several simulation language platforms.
