Daily Duties at Pixelworks Inc:

Developed several image processing IC’s for the flat panel monitor, digital projector, and advanced television markets. • Performed prototyping duties for a high-end projector chip using FPGA’s. This allowed our team to analyze the quality of new image processing algorithms and included synthesis, place and route, and system integration. • Held the role of design lead and handled all top-level integration issues for a MIPS-based image processing SOC. Duties also included IP configuration and connection, verification, and design of a ROM/nand flash memory controller. • Worked with the integration of analog design blocks into a digital system and the design and verification of a timing controller to interface with flat panel monitor hardware. • Responsible for BIST structure insertion and test vector generation for several projects. Test vector generation included both functional vectors as well as ATPG patterns. • Wrote many perl scripts to automate the generation of register files and module packages, manipulate test vector files and formats, run and report on nightly regressions, and generate verification input stimulus.
