Developed the next FYE sale, receipt and markdown budgets to achieve gross profit, turns and ROI. Accountable for merchandise shipping, budget planning, forecasting, inventory and exit strategies that resulted in annual sales over $68.8 million. Involved in the selection and pricing strategies for core and fashion items. • Providing business support to the Buyer through report generation and analysis of business results • Built and created private label for the stores causing a 48.3% increase in sales for the handbag category • Handle all marketing/sales promotion function • Maintaining vendor contacts and tracking orders • Managed Merchandising Assistant to achieve on-time delivery of purchase orders
