Daily Duties at Vons, Inc.:
As night crew chief, I was responsible for making sure the night crew team performed their tasks in a safe, productive manner. We offloaded supply trucks, stocked shelves with merchandise, rotated perishable stock to control product shrinkage and worked through back stock. I operated both manual & power forklifts in the warehouse moving pallets of merchandise and equipment. I also scheduled man hours and ordered merchandise as necessary.
