Daily Duties at Commercial Construction & Improvements:
I was responsible for the supervision of our subcontractors on several T.I. projects at the Academy Of Sciences as well as a variety of projects throughout the city. My daily responsibilities consisted of: scheduling subcontractors to perform their scopes of work in accordance with our project schedule, conduct quality control checks of ongoing work, troubleshoot any problems that may arise with subcontractors and identify possible discrepancies in scope or existing conditions and report them to our clients in the form of RFI's. I interacted with our subcontractors, clients, management personnel of other GC’s and building staff daily to provide maintain a clear channel of communication through construction. As well as all of the above, I also acted as safety officer. My duties as such are to hold weekly safety meetings with all onsite subcontractor personnel, obtain and post any MSDS information associated with chemicals/materials being used in the work area and regulate the work methods of all personnel to ensure a safe, healthy working environment for all.
