Daily Duties at The Marketing Store:
* Developed strategic creative platforms for McDonald’s current and new youth business which delivered appropriate new product acceptance, aligned with target, brought about positive sales figures, and received positive exposure to the organization. * Tracked and monitored trends associated with youth including toys, lifestyle and interests, food preferences, and product design which led to successful “Happy Meal” toy launches with buy-in implementation to clients. * Identified, recommended, and led research activities for toy development initiatives on various McDonald’s Happy Meal programs, ranging 12 – 20 programs per year among kids ages 6-10, to understand interest level on potential ideas presented in pitches, often capturing creative business away from a competitor. o Led similar actions for Unliver, J&J, General Mills clients which were compelling and appropriate. * Developed a standardized approach to concurrent and post-program toy evaluations that resulted in ongoing shopper insights within toy development life cycle with quarterly toy testing, in-home play ethnographies, McDonald’s and Competitors periodic toy-to-play observations in restaurants. * Developed a formalized analysis of MCD “Kids Business” approach by compiling quarterly analysis of restaurant trends that enhanced understanding of clients business and provided strategic platforms. * Managed TMS focus group facility, institutional relationships, and research vendor performance creating a positive working relationship and a willingness to cooperate. * Supervised, trained intern over two concurrent summers, on procedures enhancing efficiency and productivity.
